Description

The NYC Financial Information Services Agency-Office of Payroll Administration is hiring a Java Developer to support production and development of the citywide automated timekeeping system, CITYTIME. The role involves designing and maintaining Java-based enterprise applications, collaborating with business analysts and architects, writing and testing code, optimizing performance and scalability, troubleshooting production issues, and documenting technical designs. Required qualifications include strong Java proficiency, experience with MVC frameworks and ORM technologies, web services and API development, relational databases and SQL, Agile methodologies, version control, and build tools; experience with Fair Isaac's Blaze Advisor rule engine is preferred. The position offers 35 hours weekly and includes health insurance and other benefits.
