Description
HelloKindred is staffing a Java Developer role for a six-month contract ending April 25, 2027, with a possible extension. The position supports re-platforming and modernising an application by moving it from a vendor platform to an internal Bring Your Own Code platform, modernising the application, and resolving dependency issues. The role involves building back-end features, APIs, and microservices, working in an Agile CI/CD environment, participating in peer reviews and automated testing, and collaborating with developers, testers, customers, and stakeholders. The role requires Java 11+ experience, microservices and legacy application modernisation experience, REST API development, and familiarity with testing, dependency resolution, and Agile tools; Neo4j and Angular experience are desirable. The arrangement is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and requires BPSS clearance.
