The Java Developer will work as a software engineer across the full software development lifecycle, delivering secure production code, troubleshooting issues, reviewing code, collaborating with QA, and driving milestone delivery. The role requires strong Java, object-oriented design, database, Spring, and Agile experience, with preferred cloud-native, container, microservices, and payments-domain experience. It is a contract position requiring five days onsite in Jersey City, New Jersey, or Chicago, Illinois.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or equivalent experience; Computer Science preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
8+ years of software development experience.
Experience working in an Agile software development lifecycle and collaborating across technology, architecture, production, business analysis, and QA teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience partnering with technology teams and product owners to drive end-to-end delivery.
Experience planning and managing Scrum teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, prioritizing backlogs, and enabling team delivery.
