Playtech is hiring a Java Developer for its POP (Playtech Open Platform) unit to modernize existing systems and develop new distributed backend services. The role focuses on solving performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability challenges; writing clean, tested code; participating in architecture and code-review discussions; and collaborating on engineering practices. Candidates should have modern Java knowledge, distributed-systems and backend-design understanding, database experience, and familiarity with Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Git, and Docker.
