Citi is hiring a full-time Software Engineer for its Trading application within the Equity Finance Technology team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on building and improving trading applications through Java development, event-based systems, real-time trading requirements, and agile delivery, while collaborating with traders and global technologists. Responsibilities include analyzing complex business and system processes, designing applications, developing standards, solving high-impact problems, and managing risk and compliance. Required qualifications include at least six years of applications development experience, equity finance or securities lending experience, software development lifecycle and QA experience, and proficiency with Java, Kafka, distributed caching, SQL, Git, containerized solutions, and testing practices.
