Paysend is hiring a backend engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-performance Java and Spring services and internal tools that process and analyze millions of financial transactions daily. The role owns PostgreSQL data models, distributed microservices, operational and transaction-monitoring automation, fraud-monitoring platform development, production troubleshooting, observability, reliability, scalability, and CI/CD improvements. Candidates need at least five years of backend development experience, strong PostgreSQL and distributed-systems experience, cloud-platform familiarity, and a strong engineering mindset.
