Description
Advantage Pro is seeking a Java Engineer II for a contract-to-hire position. The role involves working on various projects within Business Services Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Infrastructure Engineering to ensure seamless customer experiences and high standards of protection and availability. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of professional software development experience, experience with architecture/design, knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure and open-source frameworks, proficiency in Java, C++, or C#, and familiarity with Spring Boot, TDD/ATDD/BDD, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures. Strong communication skills and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field are also required. The position is remote, but the client location is in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and candidates must have a Green card or US Citizenship.
