Description

FM Talent Source is seeking one Java Full Stack Developer for a full-time contract engagement supporting a client’s GrantSolutions platform. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, REST APIs, microservices, relational databases, and AWS. The developer will collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, product owners, QA engineers, and federal partners in an Agile environment, with up to 10% travel required.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Required Previous Experiences: Two years of professional software development experience with front-end and back-end application development.
Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications throughout the SDLC.
Experience with relational databases, including schema design, data modeling, normalization, SQL development, and query optimization.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and integrating applications with internal and external systems.
Experience with AWS cloud services, cloud-native application development, containerized environments, and modern software deployment practices.
Experience using source control, CI/CD, and software lifecycle management tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
Knowledge of DevSecOps, automated testing frameworks, application performance monitoring, and observability tools.
Hands-on experience with AI-powered software engineering tools.
Experience supporting federal, healthcare, financial, or other highly regulated environments.
AWS, Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Scrum, or cloud-related certifications.
Experience developing AI-enabled applications and integrating LLMs, RAG architectures, AI Agents, conversational AI solutions, or intelligent automation capabilities.
Understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, secure coding practices, and AI technologies in enterprise or government environments.
