Guardsquare is hiring a Java Software Engineer for its R&D team in Leuven to maintain and improve Java-based products such as ProGuard and DexGuard. The role focuses on bytecode analysis, obfuscation, optimization, encryption, code hardening, reverse engineering, and application security, while also researching new techniques, improving code quality, and supporting customers. The position requires a master's degree in a relevant field, ideally 2 to 3 years of similar experience, strong Java and Kotlin skills, and familiarity with complex codebases and software security.
