The client is hiring a Java Software Developer to develop, refactor, and scale backend services using Java 17–21 and Spring Boot. The role includes designing RESTful APIs, implementing OpenAPI specifications, integrating systems, applying test-driven development and unit and integration tests, and optimizing CI/CD, Docker, and automation processes in an agile Scrum environment. Candidates need at least three years of Java Spring/Spring Boot experience, ideally frontend JavaScript/TypeScript and DevOps experience, German fluency, and a residence in Germany.
