ERNI is hiring a Java Backend Developer to develop and maintain business-critical Java applications, own backend components and integrations, contribute to solution design and cloud and OpenShift migrations, and ensure software quality through clean code, automated testing, and code reviews. The role requires higher education in computer science, at least five years of professional software development experience, strong Java and Spring Boot knowledge, and experience with REST APIs, databases, testing, Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD, and container platforms. The position offers hybrid collaboration with customers, remote work for up to five weeks per year within Europe, flexible hours, team events, and pension contributions.
