Description
The Backend Engineer will design and build scalable, low-latency, high-performance backend services for a trading platform, including distributed and asynchronous systems, JVM, database, caching, networking, security, event-driven architectures, and Kafka. The role requires FinTech or related financial-domain experience, Java and Spring expertise, SQL, concurrency and asynchronous programming, operational knowledge of Kubernetes and CI/CD, and familiarity with AI engineering tools. The position offers a hybrid model with three days in the office or fully remote work within the country of employment, along with health insurance, pension benefits, annual leave, and a workation policy.
