Description
Parametric is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical and people leadership for the Equity Investments and Client Activities team. The role designs and develops scalable enterprise solutions for the Equity Portfolio Management Platform, including direct-indexing portfolio management services, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, testing, code reviews, and process improvements. The engineer will lead and mentor developers, collaborate with technology, business analysis, and business partners, and report to the Investments & Innovation Platform team. The position follows a hybrid model with office work three days per week and requires 12+ years of hands-on development experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, and database skills.
