Applied Materials is hiring a Software Engineer in Bangalore to design, develop, test, and debug software for semiconductor equipment components and devices. The role includes technical leadership, architecture and software design, feature development, code reviews, risk mitigation, technology evaluation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates need at least eight years of software product development experience, a B. Tech or MTech in Computer Science, strong core Java and Spring Boot expertise, and experience with high- and low-level design, microservices or SOA systems, algorithms, and data structures. The position is full time, requires approximately 10% travel, and is eligible for relocation.
