Description
The Data Platform Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and reusable modules for a data platform using Java. The role covers data ingestion, processing, storage, retrieval, job management, database and service design, Linux and Docker deployment, testing, documentation, code reviews, and CI/CD. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong Java and backend development skills, familiarity with relational databases, SQL, RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, and experience with Linux, Docker, Git, and software delivery.
