Description
CI&T is hiring a hands-on Principal Data Architect to lead the target architecture for a large-scale data platform modernization at a major US mortgage lender. The role migrates finance reporting from a legacy on-premises source system to a governed cloud data platform using Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, CDC-based replication, and a certified BI semantic layer. The architect will design and defend complex technical decisions, work hands-on with development, lead technical discovery, own architecture quality gates, and mentor the team. The position requires enterprise data-platform modernization experience, hands-on cloud architecture on Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, CDC replication, governed BI semantic-layer design, and strong data-governance knowledge.
