Description
The role installs and assists with the construction of bulkheads, ceilings, doors, windows, stairs, insulation, caulking, tiles, carpeting, and related interior and exterior components in vessels and marine structures. It also supports blueprint review, electrical cable work, and safe use of tools and equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic hand-tool experience, blueprint familiarity, and the ability to work in confined spaces and on scaffolding; welding, electrical, carpentry, sheet-metal, and shipyard experience are preferred. It is a progression position with four classes and no supervisory responsibilities.
