Description
Ford is hiring a Welding Engineer to lead joining activities for new model launches, maintain weld and sealing quality, develop control plans, lead inspection teams, resolve quality issues, and improve manufacturing processes. The role requires an associate’s degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience and education, at least one year of Microsoft Office experience, and knowledge of mechanical joining, AC/DC, resistance spot welding, sealers, and adhesives. Supervisor experience, welding certification, automotive production, and automation experience are preferred. The position is onsite, may require any shift, rotating shifts, and weekends, and offers salary grades ranging from $74,300 to $166,200 depending on the candidate’s skills and experience.
