Description
The Network Operations Engineer executes and analyzes customer circuits across optical, electro-optical, router, and switch networks; performs real-time circuit redesign and alternate routing during outages; monitors network alarms; manages hardware, software, and ASI changes; and documents incidents. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, an active DoD Top Secret clearance, and the ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment. Preferred qualifications include cyber transport, circuit and vendor, IP/transport architecture, SolarWinds, JIRA, telecommunications NOC, and LAN maintenance experience.
