Description
Surepoint is hiring Journeyman Mechanics in Edson, Alberta for maintenance runs and overhauls. The role requires Caterpillar G3600 engine experience, overhaul and repair experience with Waukesha engines and Ariel, Dresser Rand, and Gemini compressors, troubleshooting of ignition and instrument panels, package start-up and commissioning, detailed recordkeeping, and the ability to work in remote locations. Candidates must be registered apprentices or journeyman heavy-duty mechanics, have at least three years of field-service experience, hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract, and be able to mentor junior workers and lead hazard assessments.
