Description
CTEC is hiring Journeymen Computer Programmers to analyze complex business requirements, design and develop IBM mainframe COBOL applications, provide coding direction, optimize batch processing and JCL, support production systems, and participate in legacy modernization. The role requires at least five years of COBOL programming experience, expertise with z/OS, VSAM, CICS, DB2, ISPF, and related mainframe technologies, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and the ability to work independently. Preferred Secret clearance and pre-employment screening are required, while health insurance, paid leave, training, bonuses, retirement matching, and federal holidays are offered.
