Rising Edge Group is hiring a Journeyperson Electrician to perform maintenance, upgrading, installation, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of high-voltage electrical equipment in substations across British Columbia. The role involves reading drawings and electrical code specifications, planning wiring and equipment layouts, operating construction equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and Technical Safety BC requirements, and providing leadership and mentoring to Electrical Apprentices. The position requires extensive electrical experience, substation experience, a recognized journeyperson certificate, and the ability to travel to out-of-town and remote sites.
