Rising Edge Group is hiring a Journeyperson Electrician to report to a Site Supervisor and perform maintenance, upgrades, installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and testing of high-voltage electrical systems in 13.8 kV to 500 kV substations across British Columbia. The role also involves planning electrical layouts, operating construction equipment, mentoring apprentices, and complying with safety and regulatory requirements. It requires a recognized Journeyperson Electrician certificate, at least five years of electrician experience including two years in substations, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and the ability to travel to remote sites and work in adverse conditions. The position follows rotating schedules and offers a base pay range of $47.43 to $55.53 CAD, with medical, dental, vision, disability, paid time off, and other benefits.
