Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a senior Journeyperson Electrician to perform maintenance, upgrades, installation, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of high-voltage substation equipment from 13.8 kV to 500 kV throughout British Columbia. The role includes reading electrical drawings and codes, installing structural steel, buried utilities, ground grids, cabling and wiring, operating construction equipment, ensuring compliance with Canadian and British Columbia electrical and safety requirements, and leading, coaching, mentoring, and training Electrical Apprentices. The position requires travel and out-of-town work, rotating schedules, work at heights and in adverse weather, and is safety-sensitive.
