Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a Journeyperson Electrician or PSE to report to a Site Supervisor and perform maintenance, upgrades, installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and testing of high-voltage electrical systems in 13.8 kV to 500 kV substations. The role also includes planning and installing wiring, equipment, ground grids, and buried utilities; operating construction equipment; and mentoring apprentices. It requires a recognized Power Systems Electrician or Journeyperson Electrician certificate, at least five years of PSE/Electrician experience including two years in substations, Alberta electrical and safety-code knowledge, a Class 5 driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights, in adverse weather, and at remote sites. The schedule involves rotations such as 4 days on/3 days off, with standard 10-hour workdays and overtime pay.
