Rising Edge Group is hiring a Powerline Technician Apprentice to report to a Journeyperson Powerline Technician and install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low- and high-voltage equipment in substations. The role includes erecting poles and towers, installing and repairing powerlines and related equipment, working with heavy equipment, splicing conductors, testing electrical systems, and performing live-line maintenance. Candidates must be registered apprentices or Alberta-certified journeypersons, hold a Class 5 driver’s license, work outdoors in varied conditions, and pass alcohol and drug testing.
