Description
The role supports the manufacturing department by developing and maintaining 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings for CNC machining, water and laser cutting, and fabrication. It also provides manufacturing specifications, vehicle-build information, innovative engineering solutions, and collaboration with internal and external manufacturing teams. The position requires Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of experience in motorsports, military, or automotive industries, prior manufacturing experience, and strong design engineering and automotive or motorsport mechanical-systems knowledge.
