Description

Atlas Technica is hiring a full-time Junior Systems Engineer to provide onsite and remote IT support to client users and infrastructure in the financial-services managed-service environment. The role covers desktop, software, hardware, mobile-device, connectivity, Microsoft 365, ticketing, documentation, change control, and escalation, with hybrid work requiring onsite support at client offices in New York City, Stamford, and Greenwich. Candidates need at least one year of professional IT experience and familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 technologies, networking, and related support platforms.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least one year of professional IT experience in desktop support, systems engineering, systems administration, or a related technical support function.
End-user and desktop support experience with Microsoft Windows.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Basic understanding of networking concepts.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting clients in financial services or alternative investment industries.
Familiarity with financial market applications such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet, or Capital IQ.
Experience working in a managed service provider environment.
Experience supporting Sophos or a similar endpoint threat-management platform.
Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Experience using the ConnectWise suite of products.
Experience supporting Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, or AirWatch.
