Description
Agnico Eagle is hiring an Underground Development Miner to operate underground jumbo drill rigs and perform development drilling at its Detour Lake Mine. The role includes aligning drill holes with mine plans, inspecting equipment and mining areas, maintaining safety and operational records, reporting hazards, and leading a development crew. Candidates must have at least 4,000 hours of underground jumbo-drill experience, down-ramp development experience in a cycle environment, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to perform ground-support, services, mucking, and trucking duties. The position follows a 14/14 schedule and includes base salary and a potential bonus opportunity.
