SMX is hiring a Junior Cloud Engineer to support a government client in Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on establishing and operating secure hybrid-cloud environments, supporting DoD-approved cloud services, defining cloud solutions, automating deployment and processes, implementing DevSecOps and CI/CD, troubleshooting complex issues, and documenting enterprise-scale cloud operations. The position requires a Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree or four additional years of experience, DoD 8570/8140-aligned certification, AWS or Azure experience, and hands-on cloud, infrastructure, security, and system-administration skills.
