Arcadia is hiring a Data Scientist for its Applied AI team to build and ship production machine-learning models across utility data extraction, consumption forecasting, anomaly detection, and agent-powered workflows. The role involves developing classifiers and routing logic, LLM extraction prompts, forecasting models, evaluation experiments, data validation, Python and SQL development, and collaboration with engineering and subject-matter experts. It is intended for someone early in their career with 1–3 years of professional or research experience, a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, and strong foundations in statistics, supervised learning, and model evaluation.
