Dyson is hiring a Design Engineer at its Global Development Centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role focuses on developing robust and manufacturable product designs, conducting tolerance and risk analyses, creating CAD models and technical specifications, building prototypes, collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams, and supporting product verification, supplier evaluation, and design reviews. Candidates should have an engineering or science degree, preferably in mechanical, electromechanical, or product design, and experience or training in plastic part design, tooling, injection moulding, assembly, tolerance analysis, DFMEA/PFMEA, prototyping, and product development.
