Description
The Junior Electrical Designer is an entry-level project design team assistant working under the supervision of a Lead Trade Designer or Engineer. The role supports engineering design and project management activities, including surveys, calculations, equipment selection, design layouts, project planning, and communication with peers, supervisors, vendors, consultants, clients, and stakeholders. The position also includes training for the Job Captain function and may involve taking on Job Captain responsibilities. Required qualifications include a four-year engineering degree, strong interpersonal and communication skills, organization, time management, Microsoft Office proficiency, AutoCAD and REVIT knowledge, and attention to detail; a passing Fundamentals of Professional Engineering (FE) exam is preferred.
