Sequoia Connect is seeking a Junior Developer for their Project ATLAS initiative, aiming to leverage Mexican artificial intelligence talent globally. The role involves developing and maintaining backend services, designing AI agents, optimizing SDLC with AI tools like Cursor or Copilot, collaborating on scalable architecture designs, integrating large language models via APIs, participating in technical requirements definition, and executing unit tests and code reviews. The ideal candidate will possess strong foundational knowledge in Java, practical experience with AI-powered IDEs, and a deep understanding of the distinction between programming and engineering.
