Lely is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and maintain software controlling automated agricultural systems. The role involves optimizing data structures and algorithms, maintaining software quality through reviews and unit and integration testing, addressing technical debt, and collaborating in Agile Scrum teams with stakeholders, software engineers, test specialists, data analysts, and electronics engineers. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field, strong C++ experience, and familiarity with Embedded Linux and Git; Python 3.7+, cybersecurity, and CI/CD experience are advantageous. The position is full-time and hybrid, requiring at least three days per week on the Maassluis Campus, with a gross monthly salary of €4,200–€6,000 for junior developers and €5,000–€7,100 for mid-level developers.
