Lely is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and maintain software for automated agricultural systems. The role involves optimizing data structures and algorithms, maintaining existing software, conducting code and unit/integration testing, managing technical debt, participating in Agile Scrum, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, strong C++ experience, and familiarity with Embedded Linux and Git; Python 3.7+, cybersecurity, and CI/CD experience are advantageous. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with at least three days per week on the Maassluis Campus and a gross monthly salary of €4,200–€7,100 depending on developer level.
