Description
VIATEQ is hiring a Junior Endpoint Protection Analyst to support enterprise cybersecurity operations and IT administrative services for a federal government client. The role administers and monitors endpoint protection platforms, EDR, antivirus, host-based intrusion detection, application control, MDM, and UEM; triages security alerts; supports vulnerability scanning, patching, hardening, compliance, incident response, and documentation; and assists senior security personnel in maintaining endpoint security posture across on-premises, cloud, and enterprise environments. The position is primarily based at the client site in Washington, DC, with approved remote or telework locations, and requires a bachelor's degree, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain government background investigation, PIV, and IT access authorizations. Compensation is $90,000–$120,000, with medical, dental, and vision insurance.
