Description
The Junior Locomotive Engineer will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, heavy maintenance, and wreck repair on 4,500 HP and 6,000 HP diesel-electric locomotives, including documentation, safe work practices, and compliance with local regulations and customer safety policies. The role requires a diploma in engineering, 2–4 years of applicable operations experience, Microsoft Office experience, and willingness to work in a shop environment across different shifts and days. Prior transportation industry experience and technical experience with rolling-stock systems are preferred.
