Wabtec is hiring a Junior Engineer to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, heavy maintenance, and wreck repair on 4500 HP and 6000 HP diesel-electric locomotives. The role includes completing work within timelines and quality standards, maintaining safe and orderly work areas, documenting activities, and complying with local regulations and customer safety policies. Candidates need an engineering diploma, 2-4 years of applicable operations experience, Microsoft Office experience, and willingness to work in a shop environment across different shifts and days; prior transportation industry experience and technical rolling-stock experience are preferred.
