Description
MGE Underground is hiring a Junior Estimator to prepare smaller-scope lump-sum bids, develop proposals and estimates, update Heavy Bid Software, transfer bid information to HeavyJob and Vista by Viewpoint, maintain subcontractor and supplier resources, manage activity and material codebooks, and participate in project handoffs and post-mortem reviews. The role requires construction office experience, blueprint and contract knowledge, Excel, MS Project, communication, travel to job sites, and a valid Class C driver's license; P6 and HCSS/Heavy Bid software knowledge are desired. The position is full-time and on-site, with an annual pay range of $80,000 to $95,000 and medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
