EUMETSAT is hiring a Ground Stations Operations Engineer to support routine, contingency, and special ground-station operations for GEO and LEO satellite missions. The role covers monitoring, anomaly investigation, reporting, operational procedures, documentation, validation, upgrades, commissioning, training, and coordination with EUMETSAT teams and external partners. It requires two to four years of relevant engineering experience, including complex ground-station operations, TT&C and mission data acquisition, verification and validation, and technical documentation. The position is full-time and on-site in Darmstadt, Germany, with Monday-to-Friday working hours and possible standby, call-out, weekend, public-holiday, late-night, or shift work.
