Description
Educational Alliance is hiring a part-time Junior Group Leader to support the day-to-day operations of an afterschool program in Lower Manhattan. The role mentors students, assists with homework, supervises transitions to and from extracurricular activities, monitors behavior, maintains sign-in and sign-out records, communicates with staff and families, and helps with activity setup and cleanup. The schedule is typically afternoons based on program hours and school schedules, and applicants need strong interpersonal and communication skills, reliability, teamwork, and a high school diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
