Description
Upstate Niagara Cooperative is hiring an entry-level Plant Maintenance Technician to support fundamental plant maintenance while receiving on-the-job training to advance to a Tier 1 Maintenance Technician. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing equipment, cleaning and lubricating machinery, performing lockout/tagout procedures, working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, operating hand tools, and maintaining facility conditions. No prior experience is required, but candidates should have basic mechanical aptitude, hand-tool familiarity, computer literacy, and the ability to follow safety and work-hour requirements. The position pays $25-$29 per hour and requires the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, work all shifts including weekends and holidays, and pass background and physical/drug screening.
