Equal1 is hiring a Junior Mechanical CAD Engineer / Designer for its cryogenic cooler and system integration team. The role involves creating 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings for cryogenic components, applying design-for-manufacture principles, coordinating with suppliers and machinists, and supporting the assembly, integration, and testing of cryostat systems. The position requires a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, strong 3D CAD and CAM knowledge, and hands-on assembly or project execution experience; aerospace, semiconductor equipment, cryogenic systems, scientific instrumentation, or precision mechanical engineering experience is preferred.
