Applied Research Associates is hiring a full-time Junior Mechanical Engineer for an on-site role in Madison, Alabama. The position involves researching, designing, reviewing, and developing mechanical components, systems, and processes; evaluating operational systems; preparing drawings and documentation; supporting prototypes and customer demonstrations; and assisting with project timelines and budgets. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with up to two years of relevant experience or an H.S. diploma with eight years of mechanical engineering experience in a Department of War industry, SOLIDWORKS CAD skills, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
