Smartrend Manufacturing Group is hiring a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical design, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and product transition for transportation-related products. The role involves creating and revising 3D models, assemblies, production drawings, and engineering documentation; applying GD&T and design-for-manufacturing principles; evaluating prototypes; and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and experience with SolidWorks or comparable CAD software.
