Description
Westinghouse is hiring a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support ASME Section III and Section XI analyses, fatigue aging management, design specifications, reports, drawings, supplier coordination, and technical presentations for nuclear reactor vessel and containment systems. The hybrid role is based at Westinghouse Headquarters in Cranberry, Pennsylvania, with two days per week onsite, and requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, a minimum 3.0 GPA, technical writing and problem-solving ability, and at least one year of experience with Ansys Workbench/APDL, MATLAB, and Mathcad. The base salary is estimated at $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
