Description
The Medical Underwriter will underwrite mortality and disability cases, including complex cases, and support client-specific enquiries, medical and market research, underwriting solutions, audits, client visits, performance metrics, and cross-market underwriting activities. The role may also contribute to claims management and support AI and digital underwriting initiatives. Essential qualifications include 2–3 years of underwriting experience with authority to load, postpone, and decline business, technical underwriting knowledge, analytical judgement, life and health insurance market knowledge, and multiple language skills; additional Italian or Portuguese language skills are desirable.
