DEKA Research & Development is hiring a Junior Plastics Engineer to develop plastic components, with an emphasis on medical products. The role covers plastics assembly process development, transfer to high-volume manufacturing, manufacturing feasibility, material selection, prototype development, supplier sourcing, and development of manufacturing stations. Candidates need a degree in plastics, manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline, plastics experience, knowledge of plastic materials and medical-grade materials, practical molding and assembly experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Some travel may be required.
