Description
LaBella Associates is hiring a Junior Plumbing Engineer for its Building Engineering division at offices in Rochester, Albany, Buffalo, Elmira, Ithaca, Poughkeepsie, Syracuse, or White Plains, New York. The role designs plumbing and fire protection systems for new construction and renovation projects, including domestic water, sanitary systems, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke control, compressed gas piping, code and egress analysis, hydraulic calculations, project coordination, construction administration, client communication, financial and schedule involvement, and proposal writing. The preferred candidate has 2–3 years of professional A/E experience, a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Science, strong communication and organizational skills, and preferably a New York Professional Engineer license. Salary is $80,000–$120,000 annually, with health and dental insurance and other wellness and financial benefits.
